I'm sure you are wondering where the what I won in September post is. Well I didn't win much last month so it don't really warrant a whole post. I did win a lovely Wisteria from Ben's Plants on Facebook and a book called Genesis on Twitter with Crime Monthly though. I have also been in contact with P&O Cruises concerning the cruise I won with them. We were trying to find out how much it would be for my Mother In Law to be added on to the trip never really expecting that she would be able to afford it. They came back with she can be added for free and they are upgrading our room. How amazing is that! Not only do I win a once in a lifetime prize but they are adding to it which increased the value of the prize by a further £1500. It just goes to show you don't know until you ask. I haven't won anything yet this month, but hopefully by the end of October I will be back with another what I have won post. I thought I would just give you a quick update on where you can find me on social media and what content I am posting where. So here goes - Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/justhollymarie/
This account was made for comping so all you will find on my profile page and story is competitions that I have entered and that you can enter too. If you fancy giving comping a go add me as a friend and all of the competitions that I share should show up in your feed. Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/justhollymarie/ On my Instagram feed all of my posts are personal or updates on what is going on over here on the blog. I only post competitions to my story if I can help it. It would be handy to follow me on Instagram to keep up to date with the blog and again take a look at my story for competitions to enter. Twitter - https://twitter.com/JustHollyMarie My latest blog post will always be pinned to the top of my page so if you follow me on twitter you are sure to never miss a post. The rest of my page again is full of the competitions I enter so take a look. Tik Tok - https://www.tiktok.com/@justhollymarie I have only just ventured into this world and I am still finding me feet so I could do with a little follower support over there. The content is a little different I have just started using Saxenda a weight loss medication so I am doing short daily videos at the moment to share my journey and gain more confidence. Being in front of the camera feels weird to me but i'm getting there. I am thinking of doing short videos on comping and what I have won, but that won't be for a little while yet. Just Holly Marie

Hey everyone! I hope you have all had a really lucky August. I have been really committed to comping this month. Randomly entering competitions on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram throughout the day and sitting down in the evening working my way through Competition Database and the closing soon section on Loquax. The month started of slow. My first win wasn't until the 11th which was £25 with Sky Bingo over on Twitter. They run this competition weekly and I have won three times so far. So if you win don't stop entering because you can win again. You have the choice to withdraw the money or use it on their website which is what I usually do. It's a chance to win more money. I didn't win this time, but hey ho you win some you lose some. I enjoyed playing and it gave me the motivation to keep on comping. My next win wasn't until the 22nd and it was a win over on Instagram with Booths Country. It was 6 tubs of Haagen dazs ice cream. Yummy! We love ice cream in this house so we are patiently awaiting our prize. Other than winning a couple of £1 off vouchers with Old Jamaica Ginger Beer I thought it was going to be a pretty slim month for winning until...…. I received an email from P&O Cruises on the 27th. To say I was In shock was an understatement! I tried to keep it a secret from Chris until I confirmed it was legit, but I couldn't keep it in. He was just as excited as me and later that day it was confirmed. I had won a seven night cruise for two in a balcony room to the Norwegian Fjords in May next year!!!! This is my biggest prize to date and I have been comping on and off for many years. It just goes to show if you put the effort in with a little luck you can win the big prizes. Within hours of winning that prize I won another from Holland and Barrett over on Twitter. It was a £50 voucher. This is also a weekly competition that they run. What a day I don't think I have ever been on so much of a high. I have already won my first prize in September which I will tell you about in next month's what I won blog post. I am on a major roll. I would be interested in hearing from you if you have any comping questions. If I can help I will or at least send you in the right direction. Also comment your wins down below. I would love to see them big or small. Thanks for reading my blog post. Just Holly Marie Chris has wanted to see Coldplay live for many years and last year when he saw that most of the tickets had sold out and there were only VIP priority entry tickets left he decided we had to go despite the price. I won't lie I was fuming about spending that much money and didn't think it was worth it. Oh how wrong I was!!! Although it did start out a disaster...... The closest hotel we could get was the Travel Lodge in Ealing but it was only a 15 minute cab ride away or so we thought. The cab turned up half an hour late and we got stuck in traffic. We were panicking because we thought we were late for priority entry, but when we eventually got there there was still a large queue outside. Everything was delayed. It then started to rain...... heavily. We were not prepared for that at all. By the time we got in we were soaked to the bone, but still excited. We got our famous flashing wristbands and a Coldplay water bottle and canvas bag as part of the VIP package. We also hunted down some clear bin bags made head and arm holes and starting partying to the support bands in the rain. Just before Coldplay came on the sun starting shining and the rain stopped. The bin bags came off and the real party was about to begin. I can honestly say it was the best experience of my life. Not one part of the show was a let down. There were balloons bouncing around the crowd, fireworks, streamers and confetti raining down. The wristbands that lit up were making different patterns and flashing all around us. We were really close to the front and got a great view of all whole show. My favourite songs were Fix You and Yellow which are great favourites with everyone but their new songs were fantastic too. On the night we went the special guest was Shaznay Lewis from All Saints and she sang Never Ever with Coldplay. It brang back some memories from my youth lol and was an amazing end to the perfect night. On other nights they had Craig David, Natalie Imbruglia and Stormzy. Another great aspect of the concert was it's eco friendliness. Coldplay took a hiatus from touring until they could find ways to make their tour as sustainable as possible. The concert was powered by a rechargeable battery that was run on recycled cooking oil, solar power and the kinetic energy of the audience. They had kinetic flooring that converted the audiences dance moves into energy and electricity generating bikes that the fans kept running. If you ever get the chance to go to a Coldplay concert I strongly suggest you go it's definitely one to tick off the bucket list. Just Holly Marie About half way through July I thought that I would delve back into Comping as it's something I enjoy especially when the prizes come my way. So I entered on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and used Competition Database and Loquax to seek out the blog competitions, website entry and email entries. After a couple of weeks I had heard nothing and said to my partner by the end of the month I hope I get at least one win because I had really thrown myself into it, entering hundreds. It wouldn't have mattered if I had only won a pair of socks. I would have been happy. Then as if by magic within the space of two days I had three wins and what amazing wins they are for my first month back! £100 with The Sun crosswordI received an email from the sun saying I had won £100 on their crossword. All I had to do to enter was send my answer along with my name, address and telephone number. It was that easy. What a first prize! I have put it towards my hotel stay this month when I go to see Coldplay at Wembley Stadium. £300 to spend with Oak Furniture landI got notification of my next prize the day after in an Instagram DM from Good Homes Magazine saying that I had won a £300 voucher to spend with Oak Furniture Land. All I had to do to enter this one was follow their pages and tag a friend in their competition post. Again it really was that easy! They sent my details over to Oak Furniture Land and they have emailed me asking what I want to spend the voucher on. I have chosen two of the rugs pictured above for my living room and the mirrored clock. To say I was feeling lucky was an understatement. So when I was out shopping later and got another winning notification I was over the moon. A 2020 England Rugby shirt signed by the squadI won this one on Twitter. The competition was being run by Restart Rugby and Hastaworld on both their pages. I entered on the Restart Rugby page and all I had to do was follow them and reshare the post. What a win! If I am really honest I don't no a thing about rugby and it's not my sort of thing at all, but I enter the rugby competitions for my mums boyfriend they live and breath rugby in their house. When Ray found out I had won it for him he couldn't stop saying oh my god which was quite comical, but on a serious note I love winning things not only for myself but for my family. So we can take part in new experiences or get things that we could never afford. I love my hobby it brings so much happiness.
Just Holly Marie Do you walk in other peoples homes and think to yourself how do they keep it this clean and tidy all the time? If you do your not alone. In reality half of the time your friend or family member has run around before you got there stuffing toys into cupboards, covering up the stain on the rug and washing up the mugs and plates that the kids have left on the side. Some people are just born super organised or enjoy housework and genuinely do have houses that resemble show homes, but that's not me. My house reflects my mood. If I'm struggling with my anxiety my house almost looks like it has been burgled and on the flip side if I'm doing really well it's shiny and clean. It's not just my mood that dictates the state of my house though. My mum was super on it. She enjoyed housework and running around after us all the time and it showed. However it didn't seem to rub off on me. I can think of nothing worse than spending my day running around after everyone and tidying up their mess. However the process may not be my thing, but I love the outcome of a comfortable, well organised home. So I realised I needed to try some new things to motivate me. Asking someone to make me accountableSo the idea is to ask someone such as your partner, mother or friend to remind you every now and then that things need doing. Giving you the push you need and to realise how it looks from the outside in. Would this work for me..... that would be a big fat NO. It would make me more embarrassed and anxious about the situation. Plus can you imagine your partner saying to you don't you think those windows need washing. My reply would be do it yourself lol. Making to do listsThis is something that works really well for me probably because I'm an organised wannabe. I love the feeling of achieving a completed checklist. There are several ways to do this -
